MediConnect Global Ranks No. 152 on Deloitte’s 2011 Technology Fast 500
Leading Health Information Exchange and Personal Health Record Company Lands on the List for Third Straight Year, Marking over 1,500 Percent Growth Since 2004
MediConnect Global recently announced that it ranks No. 152 on Deloitte’s 2011 Technology Fast 500 list, which honors the fastest-growing, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. This is the third consecutive year that MediConnect has been included on this prestigious list. The rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth from 2006-2010, during which MediConnect grew by 667 percent.
As one of the first and largest health information exchanges, MediConnect provides efficient and sophisticated medical record retrieval, digitization and management with numerous clients in the legal and insurance industries, including four of the five leading health insurers in the United States.
“It’s an honor to have MediConnect Global recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in North America for three consecutive years by an organization as well respected as Deloitte,” said Amy Rees Anderson, CEO of MediConnect Global. “The credit for this recognition belongs entirely to our team of dedicated employees who work diligently to drive innovation and growth, as well as to our clients, who any company would feel privileged to partner with. Without the support of our amazing clients, none of this would be possible, so we share this recognition with them.”
During the past year MediConnect has celebrated a number of accomplishments. The company launched its Provider Network Offering, announced the availability of RapidRequest, and added new features to its RapidReview online workflow system. In addition, MediConnect’s personal health record portal, myMediConnect, launched an enhanced wellness tracker and began offering a free drug discount card.
The company has seen more than 2,000 percent growth in its healthcare division since 2007 and overall growth of over 1,500 percent since 2004, the first measurement year of its initial Deloitte award. In August, MediConnect was also named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies for the fifth year straight. The company was also recently recognized as one of Utah’s fastest growing companies of 2011, ranking No. 55 on the Utah 100 list by Mountain West Capital Network and No. 23 on the Utah Business magazine Fast 50 list.
